So the Royal Easter Show came and went early this year, a once in a lifetime event as per many mathematicians! I believe visits were down due to the fact that the show didn’t co-incide with school holidays this year, but it didn’t stop people from entering the competition arena. Several cake friends entered the Cake Decorating and came away with some acknowledgement. Congratulations to all who came away with a ribbon but a bigger congratulations to all who took the time and courage to enter! There were some awe inspiring entries! So the while there is always next year to better the previous win! The next big Cake Competition will be held in August this year at the Stitches and Craft Show at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney! Called Challenge it is run every two years by the Cake Decorator’s Guild of NSW (but you do not have to be a member to enter! Entries have now closed but you don’t have to have entered to go along and check out the delights that will be there!
